In June 2019, Ade and Ola Sosanya, with their two children, were sent from The City Church, Canterbury to plant Relevant Church. They are seeking to be a diverse, community church serving the Kennnington area in Ashford, Kent and its immediate surroundings with the good news of Jesus. In recent years there has been an expansion of new housing estates and infrastructure development with many relocating to the area. The church are committed to seeing what God can do in, and for, this community.

Our Mission

We are a diverse community-centred church with the simple mission to see God in everyday life. We are committed to see what God can do in us and our community (salvation and transformed lives), through us for our community (services and projects) and for us and our community (significance and influence).

Meetings

We currently meet online every Sunday morning via Zoom gathering. Drop us a message and we will send you the weekly link to join the meeting.

Prayer points:

That the church will be built by loving God and people genuinely. That love will be the foundation of our faith and belief.
For our community projects, that through social action we can reach people in our community with the good news of Jesus.
That as a church we will be committed to living out God’s love and virtues. Living by example as we imitate Jesus in our everyday life.
