Our Story
Community Church Margate (CCM) was launched in October 2019. Having prayed together for a number of years, around 15 adults and 10 kids began a new season of gospel ministry in the town. Although the 2020 pandemic has restricted us in some ways, God has continued to bring good fruit. In September 2020 a full-time church community worker was employed to help lead the church in reaching the least, last and lost in the town - utilising CAP programmes to do so. CCM has been planted as part of Community Church Ramsgate's vision to see 3, interconnected congregations in the district of Thanet. There is a growing desire to launch the third congregation, 'Community Church Broadstairs' in the not too distant future.
How to pray
UP - for those who have stepped forward in faith to launch ccm, to be filled with god's grace, peace and power as they seek to glorify god in their lives and town.
IN - for the church to 'one-another' well
OUT - for the people of margate - one of the most deprived areas of the country - and for the church to love the least, last and lost in word and deed.
